D is for Diodes

So I tried to figure out what a diode was from my beloved Wikipedia and the entry was far too complicated for my tiny english speaking brain. Lucky for me, someone, specifically Tom Drinkwater at Art is Resistors, has made these shiny semi conductors into seriously stylish jewelry.

B is for Bicycle Parts

Bedford based Trash-d have created lots of wonderful and functional items made from reclaimed bicycle chains, sprockets, cogs and rims. They've got candle holders, bottle openers and bracelets, but my favourite thing by far is their Desktop Pendulum Clock .
